Städel Museum
Frankfurt on the Main / Germany
With more than 2,900 paintings, 600 sculptures, 500 photographs and around 100,000 drawings and printed graphics, the Städel collection is one of the most important international art collections and presents a rich retrospective over 700 years of European art history – from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical Modern to the present day.As its first corporate partner, Bank Julius Bär Europe AG has supported the Städel Museum since 2006. At the centre of the partnership is a shared passion for art. Furthermore, an important concern of both partners is the transfer of knowledge, and for this reason Bank Julius Bär Europe AG has entered into an additional, educational partnership which forms a valuable complement to the existing commitment.
Supporting the two art education platforms, ‘Guest Opinions’ and ‘Städel Dialogue’, will create new opportunities for discourse and give the viewing public access to alternative, often unusual viewpoints on art and the works held in the Städel Museum. Thanks to the partnership-based support the Städel Museum's education programme can be further developed and broadened.
With this commitment Bank Julius Baer is underlining its long-standing support of the visual arts.
